The home of a jeweler’s family for more than 100 years, one that retained good contacts to Geneva during the most important horological years. Henry Birks, still known today as Jeweler Birks, bought this movement in 1893. And now we have restored and decorated it for a successful entrepreneur from Hamburg.

The historical movement by Audemars Piguet with the number 5094 from the year 1893 was either offered as a pocket watch in a famous jewelry shop in Montreal by the name of Henry Birks or privately worn in Canada. The movement came to us through an entrepreneur in Hamburg so that we could turn it into a unique wristwatch. The rare movement contains the wolf’s teeth so typical of this period on its winding wheels. Wolf’s teeth are not often used in watchmaking today. The two gongs and hammers of the minute repeater are in perfect condition, just like the rest of the movement. It was a pleasure to individualize this masterpiece.
